IPS officer Veeresh Prabhu has been appointed as Joint Director, CBI.
As per the recent directive issued from the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of IPS officer Veeresh Prabhu has been mandated for the post of Joint Director, CBI.
A year 2005 batch IPS officer S Veeresh Prabhu originally hails from Maharashtra Cadre. He presently is serving as DIG, CBI.
Now with the new order taking charge as Joint Director, CBI, from the date of assumption of charge of the post IPS Prabhu has been allotted an overall tenure of five years upto 13.10.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
