IFS officer Sushil Kumar Awasthi has been posted as new Director-General of Forests & Special Secretary to the MoEFCC.
In a significant move, the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has mandated name of IFS officer Sushil Kumar Awasthi for the appointment as the Director-General of Forests & Special Secretary (DGF&SS) in the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
A year 1991-batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, SK Awasthi was at present serving as the Additional Director General of Forests (Wildlife) in the MoEF&CC.
