Appointment of IPS officer S Suresh as Additional Director General in the Special Protection Group.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat for the new appointment of IPS officer S Suresh.
Year 1995 IPS officer S Suresh will now be holding position of ADG in SPG by temporarily upgrading one post of IG to ADG level as a measure personal to the officer.
