Two IAS officers have been given appointment as new Deputy Secretary & Secretary at the Centre.
Kamaljit K Kamal (IRS C&IT: 2013) has been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Office of Custodian of Enemy Property for India (CEPI), Mumbai. Now Kamal will serve under the Ministry of Home Affairs for a period upto 24.01.2026.
Simultaneously, Surendra Prasad Pant (CSS has been designated as Private Secretary to the Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) (Jitan Ram Manjhi). He has been appointed on a contract basis.
