IPS officer Harinath Mishra has been designated as Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of IPS officer Harinath Mishra to the post of Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. IPS Mishra is going to replace IPS Swagat Das, (CG.1987) upon his superannuation on 30.11.2024.
A year 1990 batch IPS officer of Kerala cadre, Harinath Mishra is currently serving as Special Director, Intelligence Bureau.
