IPS Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed chief of the CRPF. Anish Dayal was currently holding the position of Indo-Tibetan Border Police chief.
Nina Singh, current Central Reserve Police Force chief, will now be heading Central Industrial Security Force.
On the other hand, Indian Police Services officer Rahul Rasgotra will be the new ITBP chief in place of Singh. At present Rasgotra was rendering services as a special director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).
In accordance with a Personnel Ministry order, Director General, ITBP Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed as the DG, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today.
1988-batch IPS officer, Anish Dayal Singh originally hails from Manipur cadre. Singh was holding the additional responsibility of the CRPF after the retirement of incumbent SL Thaosen on November 30, 2023.
