IPS Harish Kumar Gupta is probably going to assume office as the new Andhra DGP.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has initiated the process of finding a new Director General of Police (DGP) vuce IPS Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, a 1989-batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IPS officer.
IPS officer Harish Kumar Gupta who is at present serving as the Vigilance and Enforcement DG, has been a probable candidate to become the new DGP of Andhra Pradesh on the base of seniority as the sole criterion.
