IFS officer Anant Prakash Pandey has been appointed as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
Anant Prakash Pandey, a 1999-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the Haryana cadre, has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He will serve in this role at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix for a tenure of five years.
Before this appointment, Mr. Pandey was the Chief General Manager of the Haryana Forest Development Corporation, Gurugram, while also holding additional charge as Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), Gurugram. With extensive experience in forest management and conservation, his expertise is expected to play a key role in advancing the ministry’s initiatives in tribal welfare and sustainable development.
