IPS Anand Mishra’s resignation has not been accepted. He is now on administrative leave.
The Government of Assam has not accepted IPS Anand Mishra’s resignation. Mishra was currently serving as the Lakhimpur Superintendent of Police.
Year 2011 batch Indian Police Services officer Mishra had tendered his resignation expecting it to be effective from January 16, 2024.
IPS Anand Mishra, earlier was sent at the disposal of the Government of Manipur. He was placed to take charge of the SITs constituted for Manipur incidents.
Mishra was reportedly attached to the PHQ until he does not clearly mention the reason for his resignation.
