As per a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of top cop Amrit Mohan has been assigned an additional charge as Director General, BCAS. has been mandated for an additional charge as DG, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
Currently a year 1989 batch senior IPS officer Amrit Mohan is rendering services as the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The Odisha cadre IPS has been given the additional charge for six months with effect from November 1, 2024, or till the joining of the regular incumbent.
