IAS Amit Kumar has been appointed as Commissioner of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation in the state of Punjab.
In accordance with a lately issued notification by the competent authority, name of IAS Amit Kumar has been mandated for the position of Commissioner of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, Punjab.
A year 2008-batch Punjab cadre IAS officer, Amit Kumar is currently serving as the Director of the Rural Development and Panchayat Department in Punjab. His tenure is set for three years or until further orders, whichever transpires earlier.
