IAS officers Amardeep Singh Bhatia and Sanjeev Kumar have been assigned new departments with new administrative responsibilities.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IAS officer Sanjeev Kumar (MH:93), Chairman, Airports Authority of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation as Secretary, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
On the other hand IAS Amardeep Singh Bhatia (NL:93) who is the incumbent Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has been appointed as Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry vice Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, lAS (KL:89).
