The CAT orderes resolving all charges framed aainst IPS GP Singh in the state of Chhattisgarh.
A 1994-batch IPS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, Gyanendra Pratap Singh was earlier booked with charges of sedition during the Congress government’s tenure.
Senior IPS Singh can finally take a sigh of relief now as the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has ordered that all the cases related to him be resolved. The Tribunal also asked to get him reinstated within four weeks’ time.
IPS GP Singh was booked under several cases, including sedition, after the ACB raided his house in July 2021. Then following the recommendation of the erstwhile Bhupendra Baghel government, the the MHA gave him compulsory retirement in July 2023.
