Senior IAS officer AKK Meena has been appointed as the new Secretary, Drinking Water & Sanitation at the Centre.
Following a recently issued directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, name of senior IAS officer AKK Meena has been mandated for the new responsibility as the new Secretary, Drinking Water & Sanitation at the Centre.
A year 1993 batch senior IAS officer of Odisha cadre Ashok Kaluram Meena began his stint as new Secretary, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DWS). Earlier Meena was serving as Chairman of the Food Corporation of India (FCI).
