The 1994 batch IPS officer of UP cadre, Akhil Kumar has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation for the balance period of his overall five year central deputation tenure up to March 31, 2018 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
