Senior IPS officer Ajit Doval has been entrusted another term as National Security Adviser of India.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the
appointment of wellknown IPS officer Ajit Doval, lPS (Retired) as National Security Adviser wef June 10, 2024.
Doval’s appointment will be co-terminus with the term of the Prime Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
IPS Doval will be assigned the rank of Cabinet Minister in the Table of Precedence during the term of his office.
