The grapevine says, Ajay Seth or Sanjay Malhotra may replace TV Somanathan.
Currently TV Somanathan is holding position of Secretary in the Ministry of Finance. As per speculations he may to to RBI replacing current RBI Governor upon his retirement.
On the other hand on his position as Secretary, Finance, TV Somanathan may be replaced by IAS Sanjay Malhotra or Ajay Seth.
Ajay Seth is an IAS officer belonging to 1987 batch whereas Sanjay Malhotra is from 1990 batch.
