IPS officer Ajay Bhatnagar has received apex scale.
Year 1989 batch of Ajay Bhatnagar hails from Jharkhand cadre. At present serving as the Director General (Investigation) in the National Human Rights Commission IPS Bhatnagar has been granted Apex pay scale (Level-17 in the pay matrix).
Top cop Bhatnagar has also worked as then Special Director in CBI and afterwards he was laterally appointed as DG (Investigation) NHRC a month ago in February this year up to November 30, 2024 i.e. date of his superannuation.
