Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi has taken charge as new Navy chief of India.
Today on April 30, 2024 Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi has taken over as India’s 26th chief of naval staff. Admiral Tripathi succeeds Admiral R Hari Kumar, who after an illustrious career in the Indian Navy, retires upon superannuation.
An alumnus of Sainik School Rewa and National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi was commissioned on July 1, 1985 into the executive branch of the Indian Navy.
A Communication and Electronic Warfare specialist Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi has served as Commander for the warships like corvette INS Vinash, Kirch and Trishul.
