IAS officer Alok Shekhar and Tejveer Singh have been given Additional Chief Secretary designation.
A year 1994 batch senior IAS officer Alok Shekhar was earlier serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS)-cum-Financial Commissioner, Rural Development and Panchayats. He now has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of Jails with an additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development & Fisheries.
Simultaneously, Tejveer Singh (1994 batch) was earlier serving as Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Power with additional charges of CMD, Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd., Now he has been designated as Additional Chief Secretary of Local Government with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce.
