A 1990-batch IAS officer from the Karnataka cadre Atul Kumar Tiwari who is currently serving as Secretary in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, now has been assigned an additional responsibility as Chairperson of the National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET).
As per an order issued on March 25, 2025 by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has mandated an ex-post facto approval for his additional charge. He will be serving for three months, effective from March 13, 2025, or until a regular appointee is selected for the post, or until further orders, whichever comes first.
Meanwhile, Ms. Neha Bansal, a 2010-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, has been designated as Deputy Director (Level-13) at the National Archives of India which works under the Ministry of Culture. Appointment is given to her under the Central Staffing Scheme Her tenure will be five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
