The ACS Delhi is likely to be considered for the post of Advisor to Administrator.
In a move to provide a regular Adviser to Chandigarh Administrator, the New Delhi establishment is reported to mulling over the name.
It apparently looks a departure from the previous proposal in which Chief Secretary Rajeev Verma from Puducherry was to be relocated to Chandigarh. IAS Verma is a 1992 batch IAS officer. Now the name of another IAS officer is being considered for the key Chandigarh position.
As per the speculations, incumbent Additional Chief Secretary and former DDA Vice Chairperson, Industries (Govt of Delhi) Manish Kumar Gupta has come out as a selection for Chandigarh assignment.
