As many as seven appointments has been approved by Appointment Committee of Cabinet (ACC) in the different Departments in the Government of India. The names of the officers who are approved by ACC are:
- 1. The 1980 batch IAS officer of Uttarakhand cadre, Sh N Ravi Shankar, Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund, Department of Telecommunications, as Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Secretary Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare vice Sh Sanjay Kothari(IAS, HY:78) on his relinquishing the charge of post.
- 2. The 1979 batch IAS officer of MP cadre, Sh Rajan S Katoch, Enforcement Director, Department of Revenue as Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry vice Sh Sutanu Behuria (IAS, HP:76) on his retirement on 31.07.2014.
- 3. The 1978 batch IAS officer of Hyderabad cadre, Shri Sanjay Kothari, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Secretary, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare as Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training vice Shri Shyamal Kumar Sarkar (IAS, WB:79), on his retirement on 31.07.2014. Sh Kothari will also look after the duties of the post of Enforcement Director in addition to the charge of Secretary (Heavy Industries) for a period of six months or till the appointment of a regular incumbent as Enforcement Director, whichever is earlier.
- 4. The 1980 batch IAS officer oif Gujarat cadre, Sh Hara Krushna Dass, Presently serving in the cadre as Secretary of Interstate Council Secretariat under Ministry of Home Affairs in the vacancy of Sh Tabom Bam (IAS, UT:77) who have been retired.
- 5. The 1980 batch IAS officer of UP cadre, Sh Rakesh Garg, Presently serving in the cadre as Secretary in the Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in the vacancy of Sh M F Farooqui ( IAS , TN:78) who have been retired.
- 6. The 1979 batch IAS officer of Orissa cadre, Sh Jugal Kishore Mohapatra presently serving in cadre as Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in the vacancy of Sh Shaktikanta Das (IAS, TN:80).
- 7. The 1980 batch IAS officer of Manipur-Tripura cadre, Sh Sanjay Kumar Panda, Presently serving in cadre as secretary in the Ministry of Textiles vice Ms Zohra Chatterji (IAS, UP:79) on her retirement on 31.07.2014.
