Anti-Corruption Bureau has conducted raids on information commissioner of Maharashtra, Deepak Deshpande’s Aurangabad and Mumbai houses and seized huge disproportionate assets.ACB said Deshpande’s name had cropped up in the ACB investigations in both the cases in which he has been booked along with Chaggan Bhujbal in alleged irregularities cases.
The preliminary investigation revealed that, Deshpande owns five acres of land in Pune and Aurangabad, two shops, 27 kgs of silver, one and half kgs of gold, fixed deposits & bonds of Rs 2.5 crore and 6000 shares in various investments schemes.
