Abdur Rehman’s candidature from Maharashtra’s Dhule Lok Sabha seat got scrapped

Maharashtra’s ex-IPS Abdur Rahman’s candidature has been cancelled. He was trying his luck from Maharashtra’s Dhule Constituency.

The former top cop’s candidature in the LS election from Dhule seat has been scrapped on the ground of “Office of Profit”.

A 1997 batch IPS officer Abdur Rahman hails from Maharashtra cadre. He had resigned from service as IG in MSHRC in protest against the CAA.
