IAS trainee officers Aashima Goyal and Ankur Das are to hold Asst Secy posts in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
A year 2022 batch IAS officer from Uttarakhand cadre Aashima Goyal holds an M.Tech degree. Initially he was recruited in the Kerala cadre before being transferred to the Uttarakhand cadre.
On the other hand a year 2022 batch IAS officer from Assam Meghalaya cadre Ankur Das holds a B.Tech. in Bio-Technology. Recently Das concluded his district training as Assistant Commissioner in Baksa, Assam.
As many as seven IAS OTs have been posted as Asst Secretaries in the Union Home Ministry. These trainee officers belong to the 2022 batch of IAS officers.
Among the seven chosen officer trainees the names include Aashima Goyal IAS (Uttarakhand 2022), Ankur Das IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022), Barot Hiren Jitendrabhai IAS (Gujarat 2022), Mridul Shivhare IAS (Assam Meghalaya 2022), Patil Abhijeet Rajendra IAS (Sikkim 2022), Pawar Omkar Madhukar IAS (Maharashtra 2022) and Samyak S Jain IAS (AGMUT 2022).
