Senior IAS officer Shaktikanta Das has been appointed as Principal Secy-2 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IAS officer Shaktikanta Das as Principal Secretary to the PM. His appointment will be co-terminus with the term of the Prime Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
A year 1980 batch senior IAS officer of TN cadre Shaktikanta Das will now be serving as Principal Secretary-2 to Prime Minister. Now with the new order he will be serving with effect from the date he assumes the office until further orders.
