Raghubar Das to be new non-tribal Chief Minister of Jharkhand

Senior BJP leader, Raghubar Das is going to be new Chief Minister of Jharkhand, becoming the first non-tribal CM of the state 14 years after it was carved out of Bihar. His name was formally announced by BJP general secretary and union health minister JP Nadda, who was one of the two party’s observers in the state, the decision on his name has been taken after he was selected as the leader of the BJP legislative party in a meeting of newly-elected MLAs in Ranchi.
