The 1978 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Alok Ranjan may be appointed as Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Government. He is presently serving as Infrastructure & Industrial Development Commissioner (IIDC) & Agriculture Production Commissioner (ACC).
