Chinese President Xi jinping arrives New Delhi

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the national capital on Wednesday night after a grand welcome in Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The first couple of China was received by Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani at the Air Force station in Palm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also arrived at 10.35 PM.
During the Ahmedabad leg of the tour, Xi and Modi also visited the Sabarmati Ashram, where the Chinese president took a stroll on the picturesque Sabarmati riverfront, sat on a swing and watched traditional folk dances of Gujarat. On Thursday, Modi and Xi would hold talks at Hyderabad House, which would be followed by the inking of several agreements, including on infrastructure and railways.
