The Senior IAS officer of 1979 batch of Kerala cadre, V Somasundaran has been accorded with the post of new Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Prior to this he was serving in the cadre. V Somasundaran will take over the charge from Ashok Lavasa, now who has been shifted and posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Environment & Forest.
