The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Kunal Mukherjee, a senior divisional electrical engineer (traction distribution) of ER’s Sealdah Division of the Eastern Railway’s Sealdah Division on charges of demanding and accepting a bribe from two private firms.
CBI has also arrested five other including members, the manager of the private firms in this connection. All five were produced before the special CBI court in Alipore on Friday and remanded to judicial custody.
