3 UT Cadre Top Cops Elevated to DGP Rank

Three UT Cadre IPS officers have been promoted to DGP rank whereas 2 others have received Proforma Promotion.

As a significant development at the Centre, the Government of India has promoted three senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) in the AGMUT cadre. With the elevation effective immediately, the chosen officers have been placed in the Level-16 of the Pay Matrix.

The promotions, effective immediately, place these officers in Level-16 of the Pay Matrix.

Names in the list of the promoted officers include:

Anand Mohan (IPS: 1994: AGMUT)

Garima Bhatnagar (IPS: 1994: AGMUT)

Ravindra Singh Yadav (IPS: 1995: AGMUT)
