IPS officers Shashank Anand & Rani Bindu have been assigned new portfolios at the Centre.
Two out of the four IPS Officers who have been promoted recently have been given IG-level positions. Names of the chosen top cops include Shashank Anand and Rani Bindu.
A year 2006 batch IPS officer of Haryana cadre, Shashank Anand has been promoted as IG, Border Security Force (BSF) whereas another year 2006 batch IPS of HP cadre Rani Bindu has been given elevation as IG, Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).
