IPS officer Gyaneshwar Singh has been allowed a prematurely repatriated to his home cadre in Himachal Pradesh.
In accordance with a circular issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Competent Authority has mandated to approve the premature repatriation of IPS officer Gyaneshwar Singh from his position to his parent cadre.
A year 1999 batch senior IPS officer Gyaneshwar Singh is currently serving as Deputy Director General (DDG) in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
The decision is effective immediately which will also include the provision for an ‘extended cooling-off’ period.
