IAS Sumita Mishra has been appointed as Home Secretary.
As per a recently issued directive by the Appointed Committee of the Cabinet, name of IAS Sumita Mishra has been mandated for the new responsibility as Home Secretary.
A year 1990 batch IAS officer Sumita Mishra originally hails from Haryana cadre. Now with the new order she has been appointed as the new Home Secretary, with the Home Ministry. She will continue serving under Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini’s direct supervision
