Two IPS officers have joined Gujarat Police as new Superintendent of Police in two Gujarat cities.
Following a recently issued directive by the state administration of Gujarat, names of Two IPS officers have been mandated for the position of SP in two cities of the state. Names among the two top cops include IPS Himkar Singh and IPS Vikas Shukla.
IPS Himkar Singh has been shifted to the position of Superintendent of Police (SP) for Rajkot Rural, with the post downgraded to accommodate this transfer. On the other IPS Vikas Sunda, a 2018 batch officer, has been moved to the role of SP for Kutch (West). This was a position that had been vacant for some time.
