IPS officer Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey has been posted as Inspector General of BSF.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has recently through an issued directive mandated appointment of IPS Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey as the Inspector General (IG) of the Border Security Force (BSF). He will be replacing IPS officer Ashish Kumar Singh, who now has been posted as Inspector General (IG) of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
The appointment of the year 1997 batch IPS officer of Odisha cadre, Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey has been effective immediately. He will be working on the post until February 29, 2028, or until further orders. The official announcement came through a letter from the Under Secretary to the Government of India addressed to the Chief Secretary of Odisha.
