IPS officer R Prasad Meena has been appointed as Director General (Investigation), NHRC.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for appointment of IPS R Prasad Meena as Director General (Investigation) in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
A year 1993 batch senior IPS R Prasad Meena is currently serving as Special DG, BSF. Now he has been appoint at Level -16 in the Pay Matrix and the tenure he has been allotted on the new post is up to the date of his superannuation on 31.07.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
