IPS officer Rashmi Shukla is now back as Maharashtra Director General of Police.
The state home department has recently issued an order which mandates reappointment of IPS Rashmi Shukla as the DGP of Maharashtra.
During the state elections IPS Shukla was removed from the position of the state DGP. Now since the election period is over now, she has been reinstated by the state administration.
