Cabinet Secretariat’s post of Director has been upgraded to the level of Additional Secretary.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in temporary upgradation of the post in Cabinet Secretariat held by IAS Rohit Kuar.
A year 1997 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan Cadre, Rohit Kumar is currently serving as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat.
With the upgradation of the post, IAS Rohit Kumar is going to serve as Additional Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat for a term up to September 24, 2025.
