IAS officers C Samayamoorthy and Dr. M Aarthi have been entrusted with new administrative roles in the state of Tamil Nadu.
A year 2002 batch IAS officer of TN cadre, C Samayamoorthy has been transferred from his role as Commissioner of Tourism and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation. Now he will be serving as the Secretary, Human Resources Management Department.
On the other hand, a year 2012 batch IAS officer Dr. M Aarthi who currently is serving as State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha, has been posted as the Deputy Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister.
