Senior IAS officer Alka Tiwari has been designated as new Chief Secretary of the state of Jharkhand.
Following a recently issued directive by the state administration of Jharkhand, name of senior IAS officer Alka Tiwari has been mandated for the position of Chief Secretary of the state of Jharkhand.
A year 1998 batch Jharkhand cadre IAS Alka Tiwari succeeds L Khiangte, who retired on 31st of October, 2024.
The appointment of IAS Tiwari followed the consent of the Election Commission of India (ECI). She will be working with a tenure extending until her superannuation on 30th September, 2025.
