IAS officer P Bala Kiran & ISS officer Amit Nirmal have been appointed as Joint Seretary at the Center.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointment of IAS officer P Bala Kiran (KL:2008), as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training. He will be serving on the post for an overall tenure of five years upto 28.02.2026, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
Simultaneously, appointment of ISS officer Amit Nirmal (2001) has also been mandated as Joint Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He will be serving on the post for a tenure of five years, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
