IDAS officers Praveen K Rai and Rakesh K Pandey have been assigned new portfolios at the Center.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IDAS Praveen Kumar Rai (2003) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been given a work tenure on the post of seven years upto 1608.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Ashish Kumar, lAS (TN:2005).
Appointment of IAS Rakesh Kumar Pandey (2003) has also been mandated as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs. He will be serving on the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 13.05.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
