IAS Neerja Sekhar has been promoted to the rank of Special Secretary to the Government of India.
The ACC has approved in-situ upgradation of IAS Neerja Sekhar to
the level of Special Secretary in the rank and payof Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to the officer by temporarily upgrading the post.
A year 1993 batch senior IAS Neerja Sekhar (HY) is at present serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Now with the new order she has been posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
