IAS Amit Prakash Thakur has been appointed for filling up of the post of Second Secretary (Hindi & Culture) at High Commission of India, Port of Spain under Ministry of External Affairs.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of Ministry of External Affairs for the appointment of IAS Amit Prakash Thakur.
IAS Amit K Thakur is currently serving as Deputy Director (Rajya Sabha Secretariat). He has been given the new posting for a period of three years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
