Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh has been appointed as next Air Force Chief.
Today the Centre has designated Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh as the next Chief of the Air Staff. Air Marshal Singh is going to assume his new office after the tenure completion of the current chief of air staff Vivek Ram Chaudhari on September 30, 2024.
Air Marshal Singh has been commissioned into Indian Air Force’s fighter pilot stream in December 1984. A qualified Flying Instructor Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh is an Experimental Test Pilot, boasting over 5,000 flight hours on a rotary & diverse wing aircraft.
