The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Cabinet Secretariat for extension in the Central deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme of
IRS officer Niranjan Chandrashekhar Cheriyamane.
A year 2008 batch IRS (C&CE) officer Niranjan Chandrashekhar Cheriyamane is currently serving as Director, Cabinet Secretariat. IRS Cheriyamane has been appointed in the Secretariat for a period of two years beyond 07.11.2024 and upto 07.11.2026 or until further
orders, whichever is earlier.
