The ACC has approved in-situ upgradation of IAS officer Amit Agrawal to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them.
Following a notification issued lately by the competent authority, Amit Agrawal has been selected on the position of Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
A year 1993 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh Cadre, Amit Agrawal, is at present working as Chief Executive Officer, Unique Identification Authority of India.
